Nikki read her Bible every night faithfully.  She never mentioned that she was keeping  a notebook, and it was found by her Bible the morning after she died.
Truth is, many of us are struggling with worries, challenges and problems, and it is like Nikki wrote this as a gift to help us all find relief, hope and love in God.  Sadly, just as we did not anticipate that we would be losing Nikki at such a young age, none of us know when our time will come - this is said to be like a waiting room for the real life.  We hope Nikki's notebook will help you on your life's journey . . .
Please feel free to print and share the message.  May God bless you!

Nikki's Notebook

Remember  These are just some of the passages I liked and some that helped me - so I wrote them down.  The Bible has alot more and read the Bible instead because God wrote that and this is just a small notebook made by a mere human.

Acts 17:24-28 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.  And He is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything because He himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.  From one man He made every nation of me, that they should inhabit the whoe earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.  God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him , though He is not far from each one of us.  For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Malachi 3:6  I the Lord do not change.  So you, O descendents of Jacob, are not destroyed

Matthew 4:4  Jesus answered, "It is written:  Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God"

Matthew 6:25-27  "Therefore I tell you do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Worry and stress are really symptoms of self-sufficiency and a lack of trust in God

Matthew 6:34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own.

The cure for anxiety is to "seek first the Kingdom and the righteousness . . .

Matthew 7:7  Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Matthew 7:13  Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Joshua 1:9  Have I  not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Galatians 3:26  You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.  For all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I Corinthians 13:4-8  Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude.  Love isn't selfish or quick tempered.  It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do.  Love rejoices in the truth but not in evil.  Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.  Love never fails!

Romans 12:21  Don't let evil defeat you, but defeat evil with good.

2 Corinthians 8:12  It doesn't matter how much you have.  What matters is how much you are willing give from what you have.

Philippians 3: 12-15  Running toward the Goal    " I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect.  But Christ has taken hold of me.  So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the  prize.  My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived.  But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for what is ahead.  I run toward the goal, so that I can win the prize of being called to heaven.  This is the prize that God offersbecause of what Christ Jesus has done.  All of us who are mature should think in this same way.  And if any of you think differently, God will make it clear to you.  But we must keep going in the direction that we are now headed.

Hebrews 11  Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.

Hebrews 11:3  Because of our faith, we know that the world was made at God's command.  We also know that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.

Romans 2:29  To be a real Jew you must obey the law.  True circumcision is something that happens deep in your heart, not something done to your body.  And besides, you should want praise from God and not from humans.

Philippians 3:19  that they are headed for hell!  They worship their stomachs and brag about the disgusting things they do.  All they can think about are the things of this world.

Romans 6:11  In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin.  But Christ Jesus has given life to you and you live for God.

Philippians 4:8  Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper.  Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise . . .and God, who gives peace, will be with you.
